The California Supreme Court has agreed to hear arguments on the validity of Prop 8. The high court will be hearing challenges to Prop 8 on the following grounds. This is great news for us, and means that the fight is not over. There is no certainty that the Court will side with us to invalidate Prop 8, but now they have shown good leadership to move quickly to hear oral arguments as early as next March. The efforts of supporters of marriage equality continue to keep this effort in the media through the protests and engaging in active discussion within their social circles.
